Disparager set for “Sayonara Summer” 2017 tour

DISPARAGER will embark on its “Sayonara Summer” Tour throughout the U.S. during the month of October playing shows alongside 36 Crazyfists, Genosha, Your Chance to Die, and Set and Setting. The trek will kick off on October 3 in the band’s hometown of Brooklyn, N.Y. and will conclude on October 19 in Atlanta, G.A. The full itinerary can be seen below.

After a line up change and nearly three years of blood, sweat, and tears, Brooklyn’s DISPARAGER is as brutal and hypnotic as metal can be. The band has always been an extension of frontman Chris AhKao regaining his life from personal demons, but the guys’ live set has become unreal. Witness some of the darkest, most soul crushing, punishing vortex of anguish humankind is capable of… when you catch DISPARAGER on tour… if you dare.

Recorded with producer Jay Maas (Defeater, Bane, H2O, American Nightmare, Polar Bear Club), Timeless, Ageless is bursting with dense rawness and precision while pushing the boundaries of metal with tracks like “At Least I Still Have Bon Iver” – half folk song, half crushing mix of Isis and Slayer – and “Pictures” – a time signature mindfuck the band is proud NOT to call prog rock.

Of the upcoming tour, AhKao says, “I’m grateful to be able to do this in such a capacity that people will lend me their ears and listen. It means more to me than I can describe properly. To that end, it’s a promise that I will get up there and give you 110%. I’ve almost passed out on stage multiple times, driven sleepless nights, made more sacrifices than I’d care to count. When it’s time for the stage: it’s war. Additionally, we’re particularly excited to kick off the October tour opening for 36 Crazyfists in our hometown.. gonna be an adrenaline rush!”
