Dead Quiet sign to Artoffact Records

DEAD QUIET, Heavy Metal/Stoner Rock band from Vancouver, BC, signed with new label partner Artoffact Records late last week for a worldwide deal! The band debuted their self-titled album in 2015, which was recorded by sound veteran Jesse Gander (Bison, White Lung, Japandroids, Anciients) at Rain City Recorders in Vancouver. Details on a new album and release date will be coming shortly!

Signer Kevin Keegan comments, “We are thrilled to be working with Artoffact, such a diverse label and killer roster. It’s nice to be working with a team that’s as excited about this next record as we are. Here’s to a great release and a shit ton of giggin!”

Artoffact Records is no stranger to the Canadian Heavy Metal scene as well as Industrial, New Wave, Punk, Rock and more! Owner Jacek Kozlowski comments, “I’ve always been a metalhead, and when I first heard Dead Quiet’s debut, it floored me. It’s a massive honor to be working with the band, and I’m proud to welcome them to the Artoffact roster.”

Dead Quiet, founded in late 2013, is a Heavy Metal / Stoner Rock band from Vancouver, BC. Featuring members of Barn Burner, 3 Inches Of Blood, Anciients & Hashteroid, Dead Quiet seeks to meld melody with catastrophe as they weave through a dissonant landscape of crushing metallic riffs and somber choral musings. While remaining loyal to many heavy metal foundations, the band is successful at pronouncing a heavy record with depth and honesty. In the past Dead Quiet have shared the stage with Saviours, Black Wizard, Windhand, Biblical, Anciients, Waingro, Howlin’ Rain and many more.
