On Sunday, July 23rd the US based band Tengger Cavalry, who combine traditional Mongolian music with metal to create Nomadic Folk Metal, will be making a stop at the Underworld, Camden as part of their European tour. Completing the bill will be two of Imperative PR’s finest – black metal beasts Formicarius and prophets of a dystopian future, the sonic renegades of Maxdmyz.

This exclusive show will be Formicarius’ official launch gig for their Schwarzdorn Production debut album, Black Mass Ritual, which will be released two days earlier. Black Mass Ritual is currently streaming in full at Terrorizer.com and the band’s new promo video for album track ‘May The Rats Eat Your Eyes’ is being hosted by Zero Tolerance Magazine and Legacy Magazine. This will be Formicarius’ first London show since they played with Hate, Noctem and Isarnos at the Boston Music Room at the end of 2016, a performance which Zero Tolerance Magazine described as “…a tidal wave of bombastic black metal grandeur.”
Preceding Formicarius onto the hallowed stage of the Underworld will be Maxdmyz, who are currently riding on a wave of acclaim for their Alchemical Metal EP. In their review of the EP Metal Music Archives concluded that “The only way to really experience this band is by listening to it: whatever words I write just won’t do it justice…” This Sunday you’ll have the perfect opportunity to do just that as the band return to a London stage for the first time since their stunning performance at the Renaissance Alternative Music Festival.
